3 Maoists surrender in Ranchi, Maharaj Pramanik to surrender on Nov 12

Ranchi, Nov.8: Suraj Munda, his wife Geeta and Area Commander Balloon Sardar, the members of hardcore Naxalite Anal Da’s killing squad on whom police had announced a reward of Rs. 1 crore, surrendered before the police officials in Ranchi on Monday. The three Maoists surrendered in front of IG AV Homkar of Ranchi Range. Many police officers were present on this occasion.

If sources are to be believed then on November 12, the Maoist zonal commander and Naxalite Maharaj Pramanik on whom a reward of 10 lakhs was announced, will also surrender. Pramanik is a resident of Daruda in Seraikela-Kharsawan. He has been in touch with Seraikela police since August 24. On getting information about this, the Naxalite organization had expelled Maharaj Pramanik from the organization accusing him of having met the police.

Along with Naxalite Maharaj Pramanik, Balloon Sardar was also expelled from the Naxalite organization. He too was thrown out of the organization accusing him of being in touch with the police. It is being said that on November 13, Vivek Yadav alias Sunil, will also surrender. He is a resident of Kothi police station area of Gaya district of Bihar and has been active in the Latehar district.
