Ranchi, Dec.30: Former RIMS governing council member and patron of Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra Jetha Nag passed away this morning at the age of 87.

The death took place in the morning around 4am.

“He was ailing for a long time. This morning he died of cardiac arrest at his residence in Dibdih,” said a Kendra worker, adding that last rites will be paid to Nag in the city.

Nag, who always opposed religious conversion of tribes in the name of social service, was survived by two daughters and three sons. It was Nag who had played an important role in the organization of tribal sports in the Jharkhand capital two times.
