Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth tests Covid positive

Ranchi, Dec 31: Member of Parliament (MP) from Ranchi and Member – Standing Committee on Information Technology & Subordinate Legislation Sanjay Seth has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The MP took to twitter to announce this information.

“I got tested for #COVID19 after a mild cold & cough. My corona report has come positive. All the people who have come in contact with me in the last few days are requested to kindly get your corona test done. Be careful, be careful. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. @BJP4Jharkhand @BJP4India,” Seth tweeted on Friday, December 31.

हल्की सर्दी-खांसी के बाद मैंने #COVID19 की जांच कराई। मेरी कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है। बीते कुछ दिनों में जितने भी लोग मेरे संपर्क में आए हैं, सब से आग्रह है कि कृपया अपना कोरोना जांच अवश्य करा लें। सतर्क रहें, सावधान रहें। अपना और अपनों का ख्याल रखें। @BJP4Jharkhand @BJP4India

Sanjay Seth has participated in many public programs in the last few days. On December 29, he met the complainants at his residence and had also attended some matrimonial events. Hundreds of people have come in contact with him in the last 3 days.

Jharkhand is observing a surge in Covid-19 cases again. On Thursday, 482 new cases have been reported in the state in a single day. Of these, 246 infected have been found from Ranchi. With this, the number of active cases in the state has gone up to 1,371 while the number of active cases in Ranchi has reached 564.

Earlier, Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha and his wife were also reported to be corona infected. Apart from this, Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad also tested Covid positive.
