Hazaribagh police arrest two with banned drugs and brown sugar

Ramgarh, Feb 1: Hazaribagh police working on a tip-off arrested two people from a red coloured car with banned drugs and brown sugar.

The arrested persons have been identified as Omprakash Singh alias Sunny Singh alias Bhata Singh and Ramdev Ravidas.

Police have also recovered a Tata Indigo Manza car, Corex, fancydill, brown sugar, Samsung Company’s black colored mobile, Apple iPhone and a mobile from them.

The arrested people were coming from Kanhari Hill Road. Both were caught in Mariam Colony near Mount Fort School.

Police said that a team was formed on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chouthe as soon as the information about drugs and brown sugar was received. Taking quick action, the team started vehicle checking near Mount Fort School.

During checking, a red colored car was searched. Two people were caught with banned drugs and brown sugar. Police have registered a case at Korra police station.
