Ranchi, Feb.2: In order to bridge the communication gap observed during the three-day visit of new Jharkhand in-charge of All India Congress Committee Avinash Pande, the state unit of the party has decided to make four ministers from the party quota to seat in the party office one by one on every Saturday to sort out the issues.
Party state president Rajesh Thakur informed this at a press conference here.
State parliamentary affairs minister from party quota Alamgir Alam supported Thakur sharing dais with Thakur in the meeting.
“Ministers from the Congress Party will listen to the problems of common people and party workers and take initiative to sort out the same to improve the coordination between common people, party workers, party and the state government,” Alam said.
Alam said, “Apart from sitting at the party office four state ministers from the Congress party will also visit districts. Each minister will visit six districts every month and work has started from today with Garhwa visit of agriculture minister Badal Patralekh and Simdega visit of finance minister Rameshwar Oraon.”
While informing the party plan, Thakur and Alam talked to media persons regarding current issues of language row, panchayat election besides others.
“It is the beauty of democracy,” replied Thakur when asked how a minister could protest against the government’s decision citing involvement of Education Minister Jagannath Mahto in Bokaro agitation against giving local language status to Bhojpuri and Magahi.
“Date for panchayat elections will be announced by the State Election Commission. We have completed all formalities to organize elections postponed twice due to some reasons,” replied Alam when asked about the delay in the Panchayat election.
Alam while replying to a query regarding date of Panchayat election made it clear to media that no work is disturbed due to delay in election and in each Panchayat work on 5 to 15 plans is on.
