Ranchi, Feb.12: Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his commitment to develop such good health infrastructure within the state that people will be able to get quality treatment in their home state at a reasonable cost.

His commitment came to the fore after he inaugurated a cath lab at the cardiac unit of a private hospital online.

“The government is trying to build a strong health infrastructure in the state so that the patients here do not have to go to the big hospitals of the big cities outside the state for treatment. This will not only enable them to get better treatment in their own home but will also get rid of the huge expenditure involved in it. Apart from this, people will not have to face various problems caused by going to distant hospitals,” Soren said.

He said whether it is a government hospital or a private one, state-of-the-art medical facilities are continuously increasing in the state. Especially in Ranchi, he said, now better facilities are being available for the proper treatment of serious and serious diseases.  “All the steps are being taken by the government for maximum investment in the health sector,” he maintained.

Talking about the challenges the health sector in Jharkhand is facing he said despite all odds the process of developing health infrastructure is on.

“Many challenges are constantly coming in the field of health, which have to be dealt with. For the last two years, we have been fighting the war continuously against the Corona epidemic. Through our limited resources and better management, we have been able to control this pandemic to a great extent. In this war, doctors and medical personnel have played a very important role. The challenges are not over yet. Therefore, health resources are constantly being increased,” Soren said.
