Ranchi, Feb 13: RJD supremo Lalu Yadav has reached Ranchi on Sunday to appear physically in the court of Special CBI on February 15 for the fodder scam case.
The Court will give its verdict regarding the Doranda Treasury (RC-47A /96) case of fodder scam on February 15. Around 99 accused including RJD supremo Lalu Yadav have been ordered to appear physically in the court of Special CBI Judge SK Shashi. Yadav has reached Ranchi, two days prior to the hearing.
Meanwhile, there is news that RJD wants to strengthen the party in Jharkhand as well. Hence, Yadav is set to meet the workers of Jharkhand and give necessary instructions on Sunday and Monday.
Abhay Singh was initially the president in Jharkhand RJD. However, another working president is set to be chosen for organizing elections here. A membership drive will be launched to strengthen the party in Jharkhand as well. Notably, Satyanand Bhokta from RJD is the minister of labor planning department in the the Hemant Soren government. Jharkhand has a coalition government of JMM, Congress and RJD.
Activists have said that once upon a time there used to be 14 MLAs from RJD in Jharkhand, but now the party has become weak here. Yadav is said to try his best to strengthen the party in Jharkhand this time around.
