Lalu Prasad’s heart is fine: RIMS doctors

Ranchi, Feb 22: Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav echocardiography and ECG was examined by Dr. Prakash Kumar, HOD, Department of Cardiology today.

The RJD chief was in a lot of tension before the CBI court hearing on February 21. Lalu is also suffering from heart problems. In such a situation, the medical board team has got Lalu Prasad Yadav’s echocardiography done. Lalu was brought to the Cardiology Building amidst tight security from the paying ward where ECG and echo tests were done. From here again Lalu, who was suffering from the problem of toothache, was brought to the Dental Department.

Dr. Prakash said that the pumping function of the heart is fine and the artificial valve fitted to Lalu is working fine. According to Lalu’s age, the function of the heart is fine.

Lalu’s close aide and senior party leader Bhola Yadav has also reached RIMS. When Lalu’s echocardiography was being examined on the third floor of the Cardiology Building, Bhola Yadav, who was called Lalu’s Hanuman, arrived. While coming from the Cardiology Building to the Dental Department, Bhola Yadav arrived in an ambulance with Lalu.

Lalu has been sentenced to 5 years and a fine of Rs. 60 lakhs in the case of illegal withdrawal from Doranda treasury. He has been admitted to the paying ward of RIMS since February 15.
