Ranchi, March 27: As the placement camp held at Marwari College in Ranchi draws to an end, two MBA students of the college, Megha Singh and Nazrul Alam have been selected as Fund Managers in the HDFC AMC. Along with incentives, they have been offered a salary of Rs 3.5 lakhs per annum.
A total of 55 students from the MBA department participated in various rounds of the interview. The selection process took place between March 9 and March 25.
Notably, the Placement Camp is a seven-day camp organised by the Marwari College which is set to end on March 28. Initially, set up for the IT Company Accenture, the camp had also invited several other companies on the occasion.
Six other MBA students from Marwari College were selected as Business Development Managers in the State Bank of India (SBI) at a package of Rs three lakhs with incentive earlier. This placement process was done through a campus placement drive wherein 70 students from the MBA department participated in different rounds between March 9 and March 14.
Marwari College Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar on the occasion said, “Children’s hard work regarding studies paid off. Now that they have received these offers, I wish them all the best. May they achieve all the success.”
Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamini Kumar, Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar and MBA Co-ordinator Dr. RR Sharma, Assistant Coordinator Placement Cell Mr. Anubhav Chakraborty congratulated the selected students.
