Deoghar, April 10: The ropeway located in Trikoot mountain of Deoghar met an accident on Sunday evening. Four tourists, including a child were injured in the accident. Hundreds of tourists got stuck mid way at a height due to the same ropeway system failure.

After the incident, the tourists trapped in the middle of the way panicked. However, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the district administration swung into action and other officials including the SDM reached the spot. Later, the DC and the SP also reached the spot.

The NDRF team has been deployed for the rescue. According to the sources, the iron rope of the cabin slipped and got unbalanced.
