Ramgarh, April 20: The second phase of agitation by traders of Ramgarh against the market committee tax being imposed by the state government started today from Subhash Chowk.

Under the leadership of the senior officials of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Ramgarh District Food Business Association, the program of poster campaign was implemented while taking forward the movement to the second phase.

Earlier on Tuesday, the traders started the first phase of agitation against the market committee tax, which they call the ‘black law’ by wearing black badges.

Today, they put up posters from Subhash Chowk to Chatti Bazar against the law of the government to all the retail trade unions stating the discrepancies in the law.

Ramgarh District Food Traders Association gave full information to the general public about how this black law would give wings to the small businessmen and the general public.

Secretary of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce Bhupendra Singh Pappu said that the state government wants to exploit the traders and once again establish Inspector Raj in the State.

Former President of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce Pradeep Singh said that this movement which has progressed under the guidance of the chamber will take a sigh of relief only after completing the movement.

Amit Sahu, president of the District Food Dealers Association, said that this black law was repealed by the Bharatiya Janata Party government seven years ago and this government wants to implement this black law once again to exploit the businessmen here.

Sahu further said that by implementing this black law, the economic condition of the farmers and businessmen here would be hit hard.

Vinay Agarwal, Manoj Bansal, Pradeep Kumar Barelia, Gopal Kumar and many other businessmen with members of the Chamber were present during the agitation.
