Two bike riders die, one injured in road accident at Hazaribagh

Ramgarh, April 25: Two youths, both residents of Bendi of Katkamdaag block under Hazaribagh district, died in a road accident near Morangi Mor of Mufassil police station on Monday.

Both victims were returning from the Hatyari village by bike after performing family rituals. A girl was also accompanying them.

The deceased have been identified as Jitan Ganjhu (37), a father of four, and Dashrath Ganjhu (17).  The girl was found in a critical situation. She was referred to RIMS Ranchi.

According to the information, the bike collided with a turbo truck near Morangi of Sadar block. The impact was so serious that the youths died on the spot.

Local people have demanded compensation from the government and the district administration. After the death of both youths, a state of mourning prevailed in the village of Bendi.
