Union MoS for Defence, ex-VP of Cantonment Board discuss Ramgarh Cantt’s issues

Ramgarh, May 6: Former Vice-President of Cantonment Board Ramgarh Anmol Singh met Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt and informed him about the major problems of Ramgarh Cantt.

The vice-president submitted a memorandum to free the city’s building bylaws and wards number 7 and 8. Singh also discussed more grants to the cantonment as well as the problem of cantonment employees, MSEB, uniform allowance, compassionate jobs etc.

The minister assured that all these problems would be resolved soon and the Cantonment Board will be further strengthened. He said that soon the Cantonment Board Employees Federation will be recognized by the Ministry of Defense.

The ex-VP also met Sonam Young Doll, the Additional Director General of Defense Estates. She was also apprised about the problems of Ramgarh Cantt.

She said that Ramgarh, Dehradun and Ramgarh Cantonment building bylaws will be improved soon. The work to free the restricted areas will also be done soon.

National General Secretary of Cantonment Board Employees Union Ishwar Singh Tanwar and Zonal Secretary Deepak were present on the occasion.
