I’ll devote all of my efforts to it. My predecessors have led the navy, and I intend to build on their triumphs.”

Admiral KB Singh, who retired today after a 30-month term, was succeeded by CNS Kumar.

Admiral KB Singh, who was retiring at the time, said on the occasion, “I’ve been in a covid and Galwan dilemma for the past 30 months. The navy did everything it could to deal with the situation. The Navy was always looking forth, ready to assist individuals and the country.”
