New Delhi, Nov.19: Bhartiya Kisan Union’s (BKU) spokes person and farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has stated that the farmers’ agitation will not be withdrawn immediately. Farmers will stop protesting once the farm laws are repealed in the parliament of India. This announcement comes after Centre’s decision of repealing the three controversial farm laws that was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday morning.
Taking it to Twitter, Tikait tweeted, “The agitation will not be withdrawn immediately, we will wait for the day when agricultural laws will be repealed in Parliament. Along with MSP, the government should also discuss other issues of farmers. #FarmersProtest.”

Earlier in another tweet he said, “The farmer is sitting on a pile of gunpowder. The movement will keep you alive. Everyone has to bear this responsibility.
Disenchantment with the land is a conspiracy of the government. The land is shrinking. These people will also snatch the right to buy and sell land from the farmer. Forgetting caste and religion, farmers have to unite. #FarmersProtest.”
#FarmersProtest
