New Delhi: The AI-India Impact Summit 2026 is set to begin today at Bharat Mandapam, with technology leaders and experts from across the world participating in the five-day event.

He said it is a proud moment for India that global participants are coming together for this event, calling it proof of India’s youth potential and fast-growing technological progress.
PM to Inaugurate India AI Impact Expo 2026
PM Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 this evening. The expo will run from February 16 to February 20 at Bharat Mandapam, aiming to bring policy, innovation, and large-scale AI deployment onto a single platform.
Five-Day Event to Focus on Governance, Innovation and Sustainability
During the summit, discussions will cover AI-related policy, research, industry participation, and its impact on society. Global policymakers, tech companies, innovators, and experts will also discuss the role of AI in governance, innovation, and sustainable development.
AI Expo Spread Across 70,000 Square Metres
The AI expo will be organised across a 70,000-square-metre area in 10 different zones. It will feature participation from major global tech companies, startups, universities, research institutions, central and state governments, and international delegations.
Special Pavilions from 13 Countries
Special pavilions will be set up by 13 countries including Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and several African nations.
2.5 Lakh Visitors Expected, 500+ Sessions Planned
Under the summit’s three main themes — People, Planet, and Progress — the event will feature over 300 exhibition pavilions and live demos from 30 countries. More than 600 startups are also participating, showcasing new AI-driven solutions. The summit will host over 500 sessions, with more than 3,000 experts and speakers, and around 2.5 lakh visitors are expected.
12 Indigenous AI Models to Be Showcased
As part of the Government of India’s IndiaAI Mission, 12 indigenous AI models will be presented at the summit. These models have been developed by Indian startups, aligned with India’s 22 official languages.
