Mumbai, May 15: Akshay Kumar announced that he has tested positive for the coronavirus. The actor has tested positive for the virus for the second time. In April 2021, he had tested positive for COVID-19.
The 54-year-old actor rushed to social media to inform his admirers of the news. Following the diagnosis, he declared that he will not be attending the forthcoming Cannes Film Festival’s India Pavilion.
“Was really looking forward to rooting for our cinema at the India Pavilion at #Cannes2022, but have sadly tested positive for Covid. Will rest it out. Loads of best wishes to you and your entire team, @ianuragthakur. Will really miss being there,” he wrote on Twitter.
