Mumbai, June 6: Armaan Malik made a surprising statement on Monday, revealing that he has worked on his new song 2Step with English singer Ed Sheeran, which is set to be released on Tuesday. The song’s original version was released in 2021 as part of Ed Sheeran’s Equal album. The second version, which features Armaan, encapsulates the ups and downs of an artist’s life and journey.
Armaan took to his social media accounts on Monday to share the poster of 2Step.
“Ed Sheeran- Step (feat. Armaan Malik).” He captioned the picture, “Out tomorrow,” adding a butterfly and a red heart emoji, and tagged Ed Sheeran.
It’s Armaan’s second overseas collaboration; he previously collaborated with K-pop star Eric Nam and American music producer KSHMR on the 2021 single Echo. Several of his music industry acquaintances commended him on his collaboration with Ed, and singer Akasa Singh even claimed that his overseas collaborations are helping India make a name for itself.
