Mumbai, Oct 27: Bombay High Court will resume hearing of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail plea on Wednesday.

During the arguments on Tuesday, former AG Mukul Rohatgi argued that Aryan was a ‘young man’ and should be sent to rehab rather than jail. He also said that his client was invited to the cruise as a special guest.

Notably, Aryan Khan’s bail plea was rejected by the special court on October 20 in the case following which his custody in the matter got extended till October 30.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested 8 people from a cruise, from Mumbai to Goa on October 3 and on the basis of their interrogation, a total of 20 people have been arrested so far. Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan has been lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail since October 8 in this case along with another accused Arbaaz Merchant. Whereas, Munmun Dhamecha is at Byculla Women Prison. Aryan is accused of possessing and using drugs under the NDPS act.
