Bank of Baroda defeats Air India to lift CCL all India PSU cricket trophy

Ranchi, March 18: The final of the All India Public Sector Cricket tournament organized by Central Coalfields Limited was held in Mecon stadium today.

Bank of Baroda defeated Air India by 3 wickets to win the coveted trophy. 13 teams from across the country participated in the tournament.

Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR) CIL along with  P.M. Prasad, CMD CCL graced the occasion. General Managers, HODs and employees of the company in large numbers were present on the occasion to cheer on the players.

Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR), CIL, appreciated all the participating teams for their good performance during the tournament and also congratulated CCL for conducting the tournament successfully. He further congratulated the winners of the tournament.

The CCL CMD said that sports inculcate a spirit of discipline and team spirit amongst the players. He further added that CCL, under the guidance of CIL, will be continuously organising such tournaments for sports promotion.
