Patna, Aug 10: The Bharatiya Janata Party has now been forced to plan a sit-in protest on Wednesday before Nitish Kumar is sworn in as the state’s chief minister as a result of a significant political shift in Bihar that shocked the party. Today will mark the eighth time that the chief minister will be sworn in by the head of the Janata Dal (United).
In Patna, BJP leaders could be seen shouting ‘Nitish Kumar haye haye’ and ‘Nitish Kumar murdabad’ as Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav, who will serve as his deputy, get ready to swear in the new ‘Mahagathbandhan’ government at 2 o’clock.

As the Janata Dal (United) left the National Democratic Alliance on Tuesday, Nitish Kumar announced his resignation as chief minister of Bihar. With JD(U) joining forces with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress, and Left parties for the Grand Alliance, the realignment came to a logical conclusion.
The BJP has charged Nitish with ‘backstabbing’ the party and the will of the people and attributed his resignation to his desire to become prime minister.
