Patna, Aug 16: Hours after the cabinet expansion, portfolios were allocated to the ministers in Bihar. CM Nitish Kumar has kept the Home Department, while Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav gets Health Department. Vijay Kumar Chaudhary gets Finance Department.

RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has been named as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Notably, RJD leaders Tej Pratap Yadav along with 30 others took oath as the ministers at Raj Bhawan today. The Janata Dal (United) kept 11, followed by the RJD with around 16 ministerial positions.

In addition to Sumit Kumar Singh, the lone Independent MLA, two Congress legislators and one representative from Jitin Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha took the oath of office as cabinet ministers.
