Patna, Dec 30: Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, met with Dalai Lama here on Wednesday to ask for his blessings. The spiritual head of the Buddhist movement was in Gaya, Bihar, for a five-day teaching session.
Kumar informed the religious figure of the Jal Jeevan Hariyali Abhiyan.

The campaign’s goals include promoting rainwater collecting in the state and stepping up efforts to restore public water storage facilities including ponds, canals, and pine trees.
The Chief Minister also gave the Dalai Lama an idol of Lord Buddha.
