Bihar, Feb 14: Bihar leader and Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) chief Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav’s convoy met with an accident at Brahmapur four-lane road between Arrah and Buxar on Monday night.
Pappu Yadav was unhurt in the incident. However, the party’s Buxar district president Sunil Kumar and driver Sudhir Kumar have been injured, said the officials.
As per information, Pappu Yadav had gone to meet the victim’s families of the violence in Mubarakpur village in Saran district. While returning from the village, the cars in his convoy collided with each other due to a truck which was trying to overtake them.

Meanwhile, the car involved in the convoy was blown away. Several leaders who accompanied Pappu Yadav’s convoy were seriously injured. Also, two Bihar Military Police jawans were severely injured.
After receiving the information, PCR vans from Brahmapur and Shahpur Police Stations reached the scene and took the injured to a nearby hospital.
Earlier, the JAP leader tweeted a video of him meeting the family of a youth who was beaten to death in Mubarakpur.
