Patna, Sept 21: Over twenty coaches of a goods train derailed on the rail line between Deen Dayal Upadhyay junction to Gaya junction (DDU-Gaya) on Wednesday.
Around 6:30 am, an incident occurred close to the Kumau station in Rohtas, Bihar, on the DDU-Gaya rail line.
“20 coaches of a goods train derailed on the DDU-Gaya rail route at around 6.30 am near the Kumau station (Rohtas district of Bihar) of DDU-Gaya rail route,” Indian Railway DRM DDU informed.

The operations on the Gaya-DDU rail section of Howrah-New Delhi have been stalled. However, the incident did not result in any reported casualties.
On September 12, between the Jeypore and Chatriput stations in Odisha, a passenger train headed from Visakhapatnam to Kirandul derailed.
