Ramgarh, Dec 12: The chain-snatching gang seems to have once again become active in Ramgarh town after a lull. The recent incident is of a woman falling victim to the snatching of a gold chain near Koiri Tola of Gola Road.

Two youths riding on a Pulsar bike have sparked terror with a series of snatching and loot incidents. On Monday, late evening in front of the Durga Mandap in the city’s Chatti Bazzar, the culprits snatched a gold chain and escaped successfully.

The daughter-in-law of Krishna Agarwal, who lives near Koiri Tola of Gola Road, was carrying her child from the tuition classes when two miscreants riding on a bike suddenly grabbed the victim from the back, snatched her gold chain and escaped.

Before the woman could create any hue and cry, the criminals disappeared by snatching the chain. The eyewitnesses told that people could not understand anything as everything happened of a sudden. After this incident, people have started talking that the chain-snatching gang have become active.
