BIT Sindri students’ tips to Giridih school students on web development

Dhanbad July 21: The ISTE students forum of BIT Sindri under its outreach school programme on Friday conducted a workshop on Web Development and Robotics in Carmel School, Giridih, around 76 km away from the institution for students of classes 9-12.

The BIT students showcased the roadmap for full-stack web development, including website creation, and introduced them to the fascinating world of IoT and Arduino, where students learned about building remote-controlled wireless robots. Additionally, the students were introduced to the plethora of career opportunities in these fields.

The ISTE Forum of BIT Sindri is a club of students to empower the youth (school students) through technical education and skill.

The team of BIT Sindri comprising Rahul Jha, Deepak Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Grihi, Ankita Ghosh conducted the workshop and apprised the Carmel students on Web Development. The team of Rahul Kumar, Saron Mukti Ekka, Supriya Sharma and Priyanshu Mukherjee briefed the students on robotics.

The ISTE Forum members said the workshop went on from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. and was attended by over 700 enthusiastic students.

An interactive session was also organized in which young minds (school students) were inspired and motivated to pursue these innovative fields, fostering a passion for technology and creativity.

“The event served as a stepping stone for students to explore diverse possibilities in the digital age,” said the ISTE  Forum members.
