New Delhi, July 7: Election in-charges for the four states that will hold elections this year—Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh—were named by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday.
In preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP recently appointed state chiefs for Punjab, Telangana, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.
Pralhad Joshi, a Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, has been named the BJP’s in-charge for the Rajasthan election; Nitin Patel, a former Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, has been named as a co-incharge.
Additionally, Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, has been named as a co-incharge along with Om Mathur who will be the BJP’s election in charge for Chhattisgarh.
For Telangana Prakash Javadekar has been appointed as election in-charge and Sunil Bansal as Co-in charge.
For Madhya Pradesh Bhupendra Yadav has been appointed as the election in-charge whereas Ashwini Vaishnaw will be co-in charge
