New Delhi, April 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today that the BJP has determined to a ‘can do attitude’ like that of Lord Hanuman in its drive to battle corruption. His comments were made at a large celebration in Delhi honouring the party’s 44th foundation day which fell on the same day as the Hanuman Jayanti festival.

“Today India is realizing its potential just like the power of lord Hanuman. BJP party gets inspiration from lord Hanuman to fight corruption, law & order. If we see the whole life of lord Hanuman, he had a “Can Do” attitude that helped him in bringing all kinds of success,” said PM Narendra Modi addresses party workers on BJP’s 44th Foundation Day.

“Our party and our party workers consistently derive inspiration from the values and teachings of Hanuman Ji. India has emerged much stronger to face the ocean-like big challenges. On Hanuman Jayanti, I pray for his blessings to all,” he added.

People with “baadshahi” mindsets, according to PM Modi, have been demeaning the underprivileged and backward since 2014. He launched “parivarvaad” and “casteism” charges against the opposition as a dig. He criticised the opposition for “playing down” India’s progress and said they made fun of the assistance provided to the underprivileged.

PM Modi launched a ferocious attack on the opposition, claiming that they are unable to understand the work the BJP is accomplishing.

They (the Opposition) had never imagined that Article 370 would be history one day. They cannot digest the works BJP is doing. Today, they have become so desperate that they have openly started saying 'Modi teri kabr khudegi': PM Modi pic.twitter.com/qjzm5ZB5oC
