New Delhi, Nov 6: The manifesto for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections was revealed by JP Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, at Shimla on Sunday. Nadda published the “BJP Sankalp Patra 2022” on Sunday, listing the 11 pledges made by the saffron party.

“Not only did BJP realise the goals it had committed, but achieved the ones it hadn’t promised,” said Nadda.

“This ‘Sankalp Patra’ stands on 11 commitments. These commitments will bring uniformity in society, empower youth and farmers, strengthen horticulture, give justice to govt employees and take forward religious tourism,” he added.

Nadda said the implementation would form the foundation of a report written by a committee and emphasised that the BJP-led government will roll out the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) throughout the hill state and that attempts to review it are under way.

“The BJP Govt will bring the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) into the state. A committee of experts will be formed for the purpose and the UCC will be implemented in the state on the basis of their report,” he further said.
