New Delhi, Oct 11: The Central Election Committee meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will take place on October 15, party sources stated on Wednesday.
The meeting will focus on the preparations for the upcoming elections in five states: Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram. It is set to begin at 6 p.m. at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
The BJP is actively refining its tactics for the upcoming elections in five states, including Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The party has categorized all seats in these states into distinct groups labelled as A, B, C, and D.
Category A comprises seats where the party has a strong track record of success, while Category B encompasses seats with a history of both wins and losses for the BJP. Category C consists of seats where the party is considered to have a comparatively weaker presence whereas Category D includes seats where the BJP has faced consistent losses in the past three elections.
