Nirsa, Sept.21: The body of a notorious thief in the area, Kamal Sao has been retrieved from the Khudia river near the Kali temple crematorium in Bhaljoria police station area. Some villagers spotted the body floating in the water and informed the police. The body has been taken to Dhanbad for a post-mortem examination. Police and local residents believe that Kamal has been murdered as a result of the theft event in the crematorium’s Kali temple. The real cause of the incident will only be revealed after proper investigation by the police.
Hundreds of people and troops from the Nirsa police station rushed to the Kali temple crematorium as soon as the word was received. The body was stuffed into a sack. People suspect that after killing Kamal Sao, his body was attempted to be flushed down the river.
Theft at the Kali temple’s cremation ground
The gold jewellery of Goddess Kali, as well as roughly 10,000 in cash kept in the temple, were discovered missing from the cremation ground’s Kali temple. Police and local residents believe that there may have been a feud between Kamal Sao and other thieves over how to split the stolen valuables after the theft. Police are now investigating the matter and looking out for other possible thieves involved in the case.
