New Delhi, Feb 1: While delivering the Union Budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday stated that the country is expected to grow at 9.27 per cent in the coming year.
For the second year in a row, a Made in India tablet has replaced the traditional ‘Bahi Khata.’ Following a meeting involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, among others, the Union Cabinet adopted the Budget.
“There was a sharp increase in public investment & capital expenditure in Budget 2021-22…This Budget (2022-23) will benefit, youth, women, farmers, SC, ST… ; shall be guided by PM Gati Shakti master plan,” said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
