Ranchi: The Jharkhand Cabinet, under the leadership of the Chief Minister, convened on Thursday and approved a total of 27 proposals spanning across administrative, developmental, and policy areas. However, due to the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for upcoming municipal elections, no official press briefing followed the meeting.

Confidential Proceedings Due to MCC

While official details remain under wraps, sources confirmed that the cabinet meeting cleared several crucial items across multiple departments. The absence of a press briefing is directly linked to the restrictions imposed by the MCC, which bars public dissemination of governmental decisions that might influence voters.

Details Expected Post Code Period

It is anticipated that comprehensive information on the decisions will be made public once the Model Code of Conduct is lifted. Officials indicated that some of the proposals hold long-term significance for governance and public welfare.
