CBI arrests businessman in Delhi liquor policy case

New Delhi, Oct 10: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made one additional arrest in connection with the Delhi Excise policy scam case, in which Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is also a defendant, officials said on Monday.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested one Abhishek Boinpally in an ongoing investigation of a case related to alleged irregularities in framing & implementation of the excise policy of GNCTD of Delhi. He will be produced before in court.

They claimed that Abhishek Boinpally, who is accused of advocating on behalf of a number of liquor industry figures residing in Southern India, was called in for interrogation on Sunday.

He was detained late last night after the CBI determined that he was dodging some important questions.
