Ranchi, June 6: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) today received awards in three distinct categories during the “Coal Minister’s Award 22-23” ceremony held in New Delhi.
The company was awarded the first prize in both the safety and quality categories. Additionally, CCL won third place in the sustainability category. The awards were presented by Pralhad Joshi, the minister for coal, mines, and parliamentary affairs. Amrit Lal Meena, Secretary, Coal, and Pramod Agrawal, Chairman CIL, were also present. P.M. Prasad, CMD CCL, and R.B. Prasad, Director (Operations,) accepted the awards on behalf of the company.
On this occasion, Joshi also felicitated the General Managers of Magadh Sanghmitra, Hazaribag, Barka Sayal, and Argada for their exemplary performance.
CCL has been constantly winning awards in different categories at the coal mnister’s award functions.
CCL CMD P.M. Prasad stated that these awards are the consequence of the hard work and dedication of every company employee. The company spares no effort to ensure an accident-free workplace, according to his further comments. Prasad stated that the company is committed to meeting the nation’s energy needs through sustainable mining.
