Central University of Jharkhand to host sports meet from April 22

Ranchi, April 21: Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe campus is set to host a sports meet from Friday. The meet will see a variety of sports competitions including cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi and yoga.

The meet will last for about two months. Around 300 students from various departments of the Central University will participate.

CUJ Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kshiti Bhushan Das while conveying his best wishes to all the students said that sports are very important for physical and mental development. In the coming times, sports-related competitions will be organized and infrastructure will also be developed in the university.

Sports in-charge Dr Rajesh Kumar said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the students for the sports meet and the university is fully prepared for the celebration of sports. He thanked the students who contributed to its preparation.
