Dhanbad, Dec 1: The Railway Board has changed the route and stoppage timing of Ranchi- New Delhi weekly Express train at different railway stations in Jharkhand which runs from New Delhi on Saturday and goes from Ranchi on Sunday.
As per the new schedule now 12454 down New Delhi- Ranchi Rajdhani Express train would not go Barkakana station and run via Chopan – Tori, Lohardaga track to Ranchi. Similarly, 12453 up Ranchi- New Delhi weekly Rajdhani express would run through Lohardaga, Tori- DDU.
Dhanbad Rail Division public relations officer (PRO) PK Mishra said that the timing and stoppage of the up and down trains have also been changed. Now 12454 down New Delhi – Ranchi weekly Rajdhani Express would arrive at Garhwa Road at 5 am and depart at 5.5 am.
12453 up Ranchi- New Delhi Weekly Rajdhani Express which opens from Ranchi on Sunday would arrive at Daltonganj station at 20.39 and depart at 20.41, at Renukut Railway station at 22.36 pm and depart at 22.38 pm whereas it would arrive Garhwa Road station at 21.20 and would depart at 21.25.
The Railway official said the up and down numbers of this weekly train have also changed from December 16. Down New Delhi- Ranchi Rajdhani Express’s number would be 20408 while UP Ranchi- New Delhi weekly Rajdhani Express would be 20407 from December 17.
