Ranchi: The recruitment process for vacant Chowkidar (watchman) posts in Ranchi district has reached its final stages. A meeting of the Chowkidar Appointment Committee was recently held, during which the final decision was made to fill 295 vacancies based on the number of unfilled beats across the respective blocks.

Written Exam Likely In April 2025

As part of the recruitment process, a written examination using OMR sheets is expected to be held in April 2025. Examination centers have already been finalized to ensure smooth conduct of the test.

List Published On Official Website

Prior to this, the complete list of received applications — both accepted and those with objections — was published on the official website of the Ranchi district administration: www.ranchi.nic.in. Candidates are advised to verify their details and application status by visiting the website.

The Ranchi district administration has emphasized that every step is being taken to ensure transparency and fairness in the recruitment process. All further announcements regarding the exam and selection stages will also be made available on the district’s official portal.
