Jamshedpur, Dec 2: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted clear weather in most districts of Jharkhand today.
Weathermen said there will be no significant changes in both the maximum and the minimum temperatures in the next 72 hours.
The north-westerly wind dominated Jharkhand. The minimum reading hovered between 11 and 13-degree celsius in most places.
Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Chaibasa in neighbouring West Singhbhum and several other places recorded minimum readings one or two degrees above the average normal.
A duty officer at Ranchi Meteorological Centre said no alerts have been issued for the next three days except for the fact that light to moderate fog and mist is likely to prevail in some of the places.
“We are expecting a drop in Celsius by 2 to 3 degrees only after the next 72 hours. The weather would be mainly dry and clear over Jharkhand in the next few days,” said the duty officer.
