Ranchi: A new flyover has been proposed to be built to get rid of the jam in the capital. This flyover will be built from Siram Toli Chowk via Rajendra Chowk to MECON. There is also a proposal to make Neori-Kokar Chowk-Namkum road a four-lane. The Road Construction Department made a presentation on the proposal related to the construction of flyovers and four lanes in front of Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the Project Bhawan on Thursday.
Secretary, Road Construction Department, Sunil Kumar, through a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) informed the Chief Minister about the work plan for the proposed flyover from Sirmatoli Chowk in Ranchi city to MECON via Rajendra Chowk and four-laning of Neori-Kokar Chowk-Namkum Road.
The Chief Minister, while discussing various points related to the construction work of the above two roads, gave necessary suggestions. Along with this, many guidelines were also given to the officials of the Road Construction Department. Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Urban Development Secretary-cum-Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary of Road Construction Department Sunil Kumar, Engineer in Chief, Road Construction Department Murari Bhagat and other officials were present on the occasion.
