“The manner in which obstacles are being presented before our Govt. Three of our MLAs are in Bengal. The onus of poaching (of MLAs) in Bengal lies on Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. They don’t cooperate with the Police going to those states to probe this,” said Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren in assembly.

Notably, in the 81-member house, the ruling coalition has 49 MLAs, with a majority of 41. The JMM has 30 MLAs, the Congress has 18, and Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has one. The biggest opposition party, the BJP, has 26 MLAs.
