Patna: In a significant development for teacher aspirants in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will distribute appointment letters to 66,000 teachers on March 9 at Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan. The event, scheduled to begin at 11 AM, will see 10,739 teachers receiving appointment letters at the venue, while the remaining teachers will get theirs at their respective district headquarters.
District Officials Directed to Ensure Smooth Event Execution
The Education Department has issued necessary instructions to district officials to ensure the successful execution of the appointment letter distribution program. The main event in Patna will be attended by selected candidates from Patna, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Saran, Bhojpur, Arwal, Jehanabad, and Nalanda, while similar ceremonies will be held at district headquarters across Bihar for the remaining candidates.
BPSC TRE 3.0 Counseling Process Completed
The BPSC TRE 3.0 examination was initially conducted in July 2024 but was canceled due to a paper leak. Following this, the exam was re-conducted with complete transparency, and the results were declared in November 2024. The counseling process has been completed, and after receiving appointment letters, the selected teachers will undergo training to prepare them for their new responsibilities effectively.
