New Delhi, June 1: Commercial LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinder prices have dropped by Rs 135 today. In Delhi, a 19-kg commercial cooking gas cylinder currently costs 2,219 rupees. It will cost Rs 2,322 in Kolkata, Rs 2,171.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 2,373 in Chennai.

According to a price announcement from state fuel dealers, non-subsidised cooking gas remained fixed at 1,003 per 14.2-kg cylinder in the national capital. Last month, cooking gas rates were raised twice, pushing LPG prices beyond Rs 1,000.

Due to value-added tax (VAT) and other fees, the cost of LPG cylinders varies by city.

Oil marketing companies (OMCs) typically modify LPG pricing increases twice a month, once at the start of the month and again in the middle.
