Ranchi: Following the announcement of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Congress has intensified its election preparations. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed three senior leaders—MP Tariq Anwar, former MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, and Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka—as observers to oversee the party’s strategy in the state. These observers will play a pivotal role in seat-sharing negotiations, candidate selection, and election campaign planning.
Additionally, Congress has appointed observers for the Maharashtra elections. In Jharkhand, these appointments are seen as part of Congress’s efforts to strengthen its presence and ensure smooth coordination ahead of the crucial state elections.
