New Delhi, Sept 11: Rahul Gandhi, the party’s leader, led the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress party into its 19-day Kerala leg on Sunday. Rahul began the fifth day of the yatra in Kerala’s Parassala, in the district of Thiruvananthapuram.

The yatra will stop at Dr GR Public School in Neyyattinkara, Kerala, later in the day before continuing.
Rahul will trek 450 kilometres in 19 days from Parassala at the Tamil Nadu border, where he enters Kerala, to Nilambur in Malappuram.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi commenced the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari on September 7 that will conclude in Kashmir. The yatra will cover a distance of 3,500 km and cross 12 states, taking roughly 150 days to complete.
Today marks the official start of Rahul Gandhi’s yatra in the Thiruvananthapuram district. On September 14, it will continue into the Kollam district. On September 17, the yatra will enter Alappuzha. On September 21 and 22, it will traverse through the Ernakulam region before arriving at Thrissur on September 23. According to PTI, the Congress yatra will travel through Palakkad on September 26 and 27 before arriving in Malappuram on September 28.
