Daltonganj, Jan 25: Jharkhand in-charge of All India Congress Committee and ex MP, R.P.N Singh has left his party. This resignation is now seeing reactions from the party men in the state.

Former minister and former Member of Parliament Subodh Kant Sahay was approached on phone today by Lagatar English to find out how he finds Singh leaving the Congress to which Sahay said he had apprehended that Singh would leave the Congress when Jyotiraditya Scindia had left.

Sahay further said he was quite critical of his style of functioning here in Jharkhand over the last three years and he even tried to draw the attention of the party high command in this regard but in vain.

Sahay said how great an irony it is that only yesterday the party high command had listed RPN Singh as one of its star campaigners for the UP polls and today the gentleman crossed the floor.

The Congress leader said he does not bother where Singh rests upon politically now but what bad he did for the Congress in Jharkhand the party high command should not afford not to see it.

Another notable Congress face K N Tripathy, a former minister and former member of state legislative assembly, said RPN Singh has betrayed the trust of the party high command.

“Yeh ek vishwashghaat hai,” repeated Tripathy, known for his frank and candid comments.

Tripathy said Singh was pursuing his personal politics in Jharkhand since 2017 and did all that was injurious to the state Congress.

He further said the party could have bagged 30 seats in the 2019 Jharkhand state assembly election but Singh very calculatedly torpedoed the party and its poll prospects.
