Ranchi, Aug 5: The Ranchi police detained a section of Congress leaders attempting to march towards Raj Bhawan on Friday to mark their protest against inflation and the Agneepath scheme besides other allied issues.
Before the leaders were detained, they had a scuffle with the police.
Those detained include State President Rajesh Thakur party, MLAs Rameshwar Oraon, Deepika Pandey and Jaimangal Singh and others. They have been kept in Morabadi Camp Jail.
The march was a part of a nationwide protest of the party.
