Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) General Secretary, spokesperson, and State Coordination Committee member Vinod Kumar Pandey strongly refuted BJP’s recent allegations, labeling them as misleading, baseless, and rooted in political frustration. He emphasized that the State Coordination Committee functions as an active and responsive bridge between the government and the people, offering regular policy, social, and regional advice to the administration.

BJP Unable to Tolerate Functional Regional Governance

Pandey accused the BJP of trying to malign every functional institution simply because it cannot digest the fact that a democratically elected government, led significantly by regional parties, is operating effectively in Jharkhand. He alleged this discomfort drives BJP to discredit institutions like the Coordination Committee.

Mocking BJP’s Obsession With Power

Taking a jab at the BJP, Pandey said the party sees “cream” in every system, having been accustomed to power for personal gain. He claimed that BJP habitually labels any structure they’re excluded from as a “political reward scheme,” underscoring their inherent opposition to inclusive governance.

Advice to BJP: Learn Democratic Discourse

He stated that the Coordination Committee is pivotal in shaping government policies that reflect public sentiment. If BJP has any concerns, they should raise them within democratic bounds. Advising BJP to embrace constructive dialogue, Pandey said, “If they wish to revive their sinking politics in the state, they must learn the language of cooperation, not just criticism. The public is no longer easily misled.”
