Covid patient with cold, cough symptoms dies at RIMS

Ranchi, Jan 5: A 46-yr-old resident of Lalgutwa admitted with symptoms of cold yesterday morning tested Covid-19 positive after his death this morning.

 

A RIMS insider informed this saying the Trunat test was done after the man died according to set protocol to hand over the body to relatives of the patient.

 

As the report of death due to Covid 19 spread at RIMS, a 16-yr girl undergoing treatment for Covid-19 escaped from the hospital. She was declared LAMA–Left Against Medical Advice.

 

With one death and one LAMA, the number of covid patients undergoing treatment at RIMS has become 32.

Out of 32, 7 are undergoing treatment at New Trauma Centre, 22 at Dengue ward, and 3 at the paying ward.
